Network Mapping from the new group window

  1. Select Configuration > Add Group to open the New Group window.
  2. Click the Network Mapping tab > Add. The Edit Network Parameters window displays.
  3. Enter the Starting IP Address and Ending IP Address.
    NOTE: To include only a single device in the group, enter the device's IP address in both the Starting IP Address and Ending IP Address fields. If you click OK before entering the starting and ending IP addresses, a message states "The starting IP address is invalid."
  4. Select the Device Type from the drop down list or select All (default) to include all of the device types for the selected IP address range.
  5. Click OK. A message stating New network discovery parameters were entered successfully is displayed.
  6. Click OK in the pop-up. The Group - Network Mapping window is displays, indicating the IP address range of the devices added to the group.
  7. Click Add to add more IP addresses to the group, or click Apply to build the group with the devices listed.
    Proceed to Discovering Devices.
