This procedure assumes there is at least one Service Catalog with at least one Service Catalog entry configured in the VTM.

  1. Select Service Catalogs from the navigation bar.
  2. Select the Catalog Entries tab.
  3. Select the Catalog Entry to be edited.

If the list of Service Catalog entries is too large to sort through, you can search for the relevant Service Catalog entry by using the Search field.

  4. Click the (Menu) button.
    The menu options appear.
  5. Click Edit.

The Edit Service Catalog Entry window appears.

  6. Modify the fields as necessary in the Identity tab.
Refer to Add a service catalog entry and Service catalog entry details for guidelines.
NOTE: You cannot modify the Source Type.
  7. If the Source Type is PID, click the Service Groups tab to update the PID assignment to Service Groups.
  8. If the Source Type is AutoMap, select the PID Template pull-down to modify the template used.
    Important:

PID templates are required with the AutoMap SourceType. If a PID template which specifies the desired PIDs has not been created yet, you must create the template prior to modifying the Service Catalog entry.

If you do not have ancillary PIDs that are to be passed through to the AutoMap Output Transport Stream, then you must create a PID template with no PID entries and assign it to the AutoMap Service Catalog Entry. An AutoMap Service Catalog Entry must have a PID Template assigned to it before the AutoMap Service Catalog Entry can be used in assignment to Transport Streams.

  9. Click Update.
  10. Click Close.

The Catalog Entry is updated and the changes are propagated to the Transport Streams to which they are assigned to in the VTM Service Group configurations and are subsequently populated on the VUE.
