Suspension of a TSR entry is required to modify any input stream parameter. Suspension of transport stream redundancy prevents automatic failover regardless of the condition of the primary transport stream. While suspended, you can perform force failover on the secondary transport stream. You can perform suspension on a group of TS or on a single transport stream.
  1. Login to Element Manager, https://<VPS #2_IP_address>:5557.
  2. Click TS REDUNDANCY on the left navigation pane.
  3. Click the ellipsis menu (More options) on the desired secondary trasnsport stream.
If the Suspended column shows the status of the suspension for the transport stream. true indicates that the redundancy for the primary input stream is disabled and automatic failover is disabled. false indicates that the redundancy of the secondary input stream is enable and automatic failover is enabled.
  4. Click Modify from the drop-down list.
This opens the Modify TS Redundancy screen.
  5. Check the checkbox under Suspend column.
Click OK to confirm the suspension or Cancel to cancel the operation.
