Create a Channel Plan

  1. Select the channel map and then select the frequencies to be assigned to this service group by checking the box associated with each frequency. To select all the frequencies displayed, check the box in the gray header bar.

    If the list of channel maps or frequencies is too large to sort through, you can search for the relevant channel by using the Search field.

    The fields in the channel descriptions are defined as follows:

    Field
    Description
    Distribution
    The name assigned to the DAC 6000 on which the selected channel was configured.
    Channel Map
    The channel map name on the DAC 6000 to which the service group is assigned.
    Device Name
    The unique name assigned to the device on which this channel was configured.
    Frequency Count
    The number of QAM channel frequencies for this channel map.
    Frequency
    The frequency assigned to the selected channel.
    Modulation Type

    The modulation type assigned to this channel in the DAC 6000:

    • QPSK
    • QAM64
    • QAM256
    • Unknown
  2. Click Next.

    If you selected the Channels & TS or Channels Only Created Entities, the Channel Config screen will appear. Continue to Complete Channel Config.

    If you selected the TS Only Created Entities, the Transport Streams screen will appear. Continue to one of the following:
