The Event Summary Report can be filtered so that the contents of the report are limited by user-selected filtering criteria, including:

  • Name
  • Type
  • IP address
  • Group
  • Failure Object
  • Category
  • Event/Alarm (the event type)
  • Time between (the date and time range)
  • Severity

To filter the report and display the results:

  1. From the SDM home screen, click Fault > Fault Report. The Fault Report filter criteria page is displayed.
  2. Enter or select (from drop-down menus) the criteria for your report (optional).
  3. Click Display. The filtered version of the report is displayed.

    Report contents include:

    Column

    Description

    Count

    The number of events for a specific type, which is also a hyperlink to event details.

    Event

    The event type.

    Category

    The event category.

    To view the details of the events belonging to a specific event type that contributed to the count, click the Count hyperlink. The event details are displayed in the same window.

    NOTE: The Event Details report can be exported to the SDM server file system in CSV format .only
