The Audit screens provide the capability to monitor system operations such as user login, device addition, device deletion, device configuration, etc., as well as the outcome of these operations, by date, time, user, and device IP address.
The Set Audit Parameters screen is used to set the number of days in an audit period, which is called the History, and provides selection for up to three general outcome categories: Success, Authorization Failure, and Other Failure. A separate file is prepared for each of the days in the History. When the number of specified days in the History is reached, it continues to function as a queue; for example, for a History that is set to 21 days, the day file number 1 is lost when day file number 22 is added. The total number of files remains at 21.
