In Alarms view, by default, the Alarms table lists all active alarms on the fiber node, in order of severity, with the highest severity alarms listed first. Because Outage alarms are considered higher priority, they are listed before Proactive alarms. If you have both modules, you can view Outage alarms, Proactive alarms, or both.

To view only Proactive alarms
  • Select Proactive above the Alarms table.

    The Alarms table provides information about alarms and issues that cause the alarms. An alarm is triggered when one or more issues are triggered. An issue is triggered when a configured threshold is crossed, and the configured number of modems are affected. See What is an alarm? for more information.
