Proactive Manager provides the options to show data points in the graphs, gaps in data, legends below the graphs, a smooth distribution, and larger graphs.

Data points are shown as dots on the lines. As you zoom in on a graph, more data points become visible.

Gaps in data occur when a modem is unreachable during a poll. You can select an option to show the data gaps.

  • See the data points in a graph
Select the option Show Points in the Display tab.
NOTE: If the graph contains a large number of data points, they might not be visible on the screen.
  • Show a color legend below a graph
    Select the option Show Legend
The graph legend appears on the graphing canvas.
  • Show large size graphs
    Select the option Large Graph.

All the graphs on the canvas are shown larger.

  • Show data gaps
Select the option Show Data Gaps.

Segments with missing data are shown. These gaps generally indicate that modems were unreachable during one or more polling cycles.

If Show Data Gaps is not selected, ServAssure NXT interpolates the data to produce a solid line in the graph.

  • Show smooth distributions
    Select the option Smooth Distributions

Graphs are displayed with less visual clutter. A smoothed graph is easier to read and helps in Network View, when there is both raw and distribution data intermingled. See Analyze Network View in Related information.
