Click a <Network IP> in the View List to display a map view in the Active Window of devices linked to a specific network as identified by IP address (e.g., 193.1.17.0).

The Network IP snippet from the Active Window shows devices connected to a specific network by name or IP address. A colored circle in the upper left of each device icon indicates the device's overall alarm status. Double-clicking a device icon causes the Properties window for that device to be displayed. As determined by the device type, some configuration capabilities may also be available from the device Properties window. In the network map, the device name when the device was first added is used as a label. If no name is recorded in the hosts file when the device is first added or discovered, only the IP address is used as the label.

Each device is configured with set of pop up menu items. Select a device from the map view and right click it. A menu is displayed, containing the following options:
  • Properties
  • Launch Device Application
  • Communication Status
  • Events
  • Alarms
  • Copy
  • Replace
  • Move
  • Delete
  • Compare

Use the menu options to perform the following actions:
