Launch High Rate Polling

High Rate Polling is launched from one of the other ServAssure NXT applications that provide cable modem and channel information.
  • Click on High Rate Polling from the Open in pop up on a cable modem.
    Hover over the cable modem MAC address in:
    • Search
    • Alarm Central
    • Analyze Modem View
    • Analyze Network View
    Polling begins as soon as the option is selected. Multiple cable modems can be polled simultaneously. Each opens in a separate window.
If a High Rate Polling application window already exists for the selected cable modem:
  • The user interface switches focus to the High Rate Polling window.
  • If polling is currently in progress, it continues.
  • If polling is paused, it resumes.
  • If polling has ended, it restarts. The timer is reset to 60 minutes.

If a High Rate Polling application window does not exist for the selected cable modem:

  • A new High Rate Polling application window is created, and the user interface switches focus to it.
  • Polling starts. The timer is set to 60 minutes. The user interface requests profile information, and then polls for the cable modem KPIs.
