The SDM supports performance polling of devices and interactive groups on upstream and downstream paths. The SDM collects a predefined set of parameters at configurable intervals, and generates alarms at specified thresholds. Reports can be generated for a given time period, and can be displayed in HTML, or exported to XML. From the Performance menu on the SDM, select Configure Performance Poll Groups or Performance Poll Reports to configure performance-related data collection and reporting tasks.
