Add an RxD

  1. Select Elements > RPD in the navigation bar.
  2. Click the (Menu) button.
    The menu options appear.
  3. Click Add.

    The Add RPD window is displayed.

  4. Enter information for the fields as described in RxD details.

    In the Assign Service Groups area, check/uncheck boxes to add/remove this RxD as the destination for a Service Group.

    1. To configure the input Ethernet interface from which to receive content for an RxD, select the checkbox next to the Service Group and click All RF Ports, ENET 0.
    2. If the type is rpd 1x1, rpd 1x2, rmd 1x1,or rmd 1x2, then the service group has one downstream RF port. Click the Ethernet Interface to select a different interface. If the type is rpd 2x2 or rmd 2x2, the service group has two downstream RF ports. You can select different Ethernet interfaces for both the RF ports. By default, the RF ports are enabled and the Ethernet interface index is 0 for all RF ports.
  5. Click Save.
The RxD is added to the VTM system.
