Verify Transparent HugePages disabled

  • Verify that Transparent HugePages (THP) remain disabled following a Linux upgrade or migration. To display the current setting, run the following command:
    cat /sys/kernel/mm/transparent_hugepage/enabled
    The output will show always madvise [never] when Transparent HughPages are disabled.
