Create a device backup archive

- Select Configuration > Backup Management on the SDM user interface. The Device Backup Management page displays.
- Click Export Backup. The page is updated to contain features to facilitate the export of device backup data. The device backups available on the SDM are listed.
In the upper portion of the page, filter entry boxes provide the ability to specify one or more filter criteria. These include Backup Name, Device Name, Device Type, Device Model, Firmware Version, and Backup Comments. Enter one or more of these filter criteria.
- Click Filter. The lower portion of the window lists the backups available for export.
- Select the checkbox for each backup you wish to export to the archive (zip file).
- The Export Backup Name entry box contains a default name, based on the current time and date. To overide the name enter a new name for the archive in the entry box.
- Click Export to generate the archive containing the selected device backups. The selected device backups are exported into an archive file using the name specified. The status of the export operation is reflected in the top left corner of the screen.
