The Time Panel allows you to select between the standard Network View interface and
the Summarization view.
NOTE: The Summarization view requires a connection to Insight Views. Refer to Summarization view for details
regarding Summarization.
Standard time panel interactions
This section describes how to choose the date, time, and metric for the graphs being displayed.
To set the time, date, and metric that you want to view:
Click the chevron to display date and time choices on the Time panel.
The Time Panel appears.
NOTE: You can view up to 2 weeks of data in a graph. The date and time fields turn red if you enter a date/time outside of the 2 week allowable range, or if you enter a date/time where data is not available.
By default, End is today's date and the current time, and Start is 2 weeks in the past, depending on available data.
Enter Start and End dates: Click the date field and select month, day, and year from the calendar.
Specify the time range using one of these methods:
Enter Start and End times: Click the time field and select a time from the drop-down. You can also adjust the time by typing directly in the box.
Select a time range using one of the quick
links.
CAUTION: Do not click the same Quick Link button multiple times for
the same KPIs.
Clicking the same link multiple times in succession, returns
different results. The distribution data sent from the NXT engine to
the UI is not sorted, causing the results to
differ.
Select a channel type (SC-QAM or OFDM/A).
Select a metric from the Category drop-down.
NOTE: Not all combinations of Channel Type and Category are valid for the Analyze Network View tabs. In some instances, the category is not selectable, while in other instances, you may see the following message: The combination of this Category and Channel Type is invalid for this tab.
Click Go to display graphs in the selected range (not required for Quick Links).
NOTE: Click Zoom Last to return to the previously
selected time range. However, for the NSI and Historical tabs, Zoom
Last does not function properly if you altered the range by changing
the contents of the Start and End fields. In this instance, reset the range manually
or use the Quick Links.
