Using Channel Templates, you can configure the Annex Mode (A/B/C) and corresponding Annex Mode attributes for RxD channels. Channel Templates allow you to configure relevant Annex Mode channel attributes in templates for use in Service Group creation. Also, the existing Frequency and Transport Stream template capabilities now account for the Annex Mode to be specified.

Annex A and C:
Transport Stream Bit (Info) Rates are calculated using a Symbol Rate value and Modulation Type (QAM 64 or 256). The Symbol Rate can be set using the VTM APIs or the VTM UI (Transport Stream Template Creation screen or through the Symbol Rate Override value in the RxD channel details screen). The default Symbol Rate is 6900 ksps (kilo symbols per second).
Annex B:
Transport Stream Bit (Info) Rates are derived from the Modulation Type unless the user sets the value explicitly. The default value is 38810700 bps

Default Interleaver Depth is I12-J17; however, it can be set to (I8-J16, I16-J8, I32-J4, I64-J2, I128-J1, I12-J17, and I128-(J2 – J8).

Default Interleaver Depth is I128-J1; however, it can be set to (I8-J16, I16-J8, I32-J4, I64-J2, I128-J1, I12-J17, and I128-(J2 – J8).
