Add a CAST Server

Use this procedure to add a CAST server.
- Select Configuration > Firmware Management > CAST Support on the SDM user interface. The CAST Support page displays.
- Click CAST Servers. The CAST Servers page displays.
- Click Add. The Add CAST Server pop-up window displays.

- Enter this information in the pop-up window:
- Name — Enter any name that allows one to easily differentiate between multiple CAST servers. This name is used only on the local display of the SDM. It is not communicated to the CAST server itself, nor is it communicated to other SDMs.
- IP Address — Enter the actual IP address of the CAST server.
- User Name — Enter the name of a duly authorized user account on the CAST server. Contact your CAST administrator for assistance.
- Password — The password for the user. Contact your CAST administrator for assistance.
- Click Add to add the CAST server. The added CAST server content is displayed in the main page. (If necessary, click Refresh to update the main page with the new information.)
The Status column displays the communication status of the CAST servers.
