Descriptions of fields associated with a VEDS which is operating in RTSP mode.
- Streaming Zone
- Enter a unique streaming zone name. This must match the name as it appears in the SDV system under Edge Device Detail on the SVOM.
- Vendor Name
- The vendor name value returned to the ERM by the Virtual Edge Device in the VUE system.
- Edge Device Name
- Specifies the device name.
- RTSP Port
- This is the port on which VUE listens to receive messages from the ERM. The default value is 554 and should not be changed. If changed may result in loss of communication with the ERM.
- Control Plane IP
- Select the network interface used for communication to the ERM. This typically would be the control/management interface of the VUE server.
- ERM IP
- Enter the management IP of the ERM.
- ERM Port
- This is the port on which VUE uses to communicate with the ERM. The default value is 7100 and should not be changed. If changed, may result in loss of communication with the ERM.
- RTSP Hold Time
- Value in seconds. Default is 30. This is the amount of time that the VUE will wait for keepalive messages from the ERM. Expiration of timer is considered a lost connection. If the value is 0, it disables the keepalive processing.
- RTSP Bandwidth Delta
- Value in Kbps. Default is 1000Kbps. This is the change in an output stream's bandwidth that causes the VUE to issue an update to the ERM (to notify the ERM that the output stream (QAM) bandwidth has changed).
- Send Edge Announce
- Indicates whether the VEDS server is sending RPC announcements.
- Interface Group Name
- Specifies the group name of the interfaces.
- Input Data Plane Interface
- IP address of the data plane interface for this VEDS server within the VUE system.
- Input Bandwidth Usage
- Percentage on the bandwidth used in the transport stream.
- DTA Inband PID Bandwidth
- The maximum bandwidth for DTA PIDs in a MTPS controlled by a RTSP session manager. The range is 2000bps to 1000000bps. The default value is 250000 in units of bps.
- CDL PID Bandwidth
- The maximum bandwidth for CDL DTA PIDs in a MTPS controlled by a RTSP session manager. The range is 200000bps (200Kbps) to 10000000bps (10Mbps). The default value is 500000 in units of bps.
