Errors reported for a program mapping are displayed as an ERROR in the Status field for each mapping. To further determine the actual error, click on the program mapping. This displays more mapping information, including the Input TS State and Mapping State.

The Input TS State is an indication of the state of the input reception of data. This indicates if the VUE server/container mapping is running on is receiving data. Loss of input is the most common and generally indicates an input stream issue.

Mapping state is an indication of MPEG processing of the input stream and output MPEG PSI is built. This indicates if there is an issue with the actual input content being received preventing the data from being output.

For a list of specific states and their meanings, see Alarms and errors.
