Every event generated by a headend device is recorded in the SDM and displayed on the Network Events window. The Network Events window provides information about each event, including severity, event type, date and time, group, and IP address.

You can view a list of all events, or a subset of events associated with a device, group, or node (a listing of all devices that are not separated into groups).

To view the network events:

  1. Expand the tree in the View List Fault Management.
  2. Click Network Events. The Network Events window displays; new events are displayed at the bottom of the Network Events list.
To view the most recent events in ascending order, click Display Last Page and scroll to the bottom of the window. It should be noted that an increase in the count in the Total field indicates the receipt of new events.
