Start the client

You can run the SDM Client (the graphical user interface or GUI) on the SDM server through the console terminal that is directly connected to the SDM, and/or on a remote PC over the network.

There are two types of SDM Clients available:
  1. Java Client - A rich and dynamic user interface providing access to all the supported functionality
  2. HTML Client - Allows the user to perform limited functions (e.g., Firmware Management, Backup/Restore and Reports)
It is recommended that you use the Java Client from a remote PC on the network as this is the most convenient way to use the SDM Client.
