In ServAssure NXT Proactive Manager, you can create historical graphs to see trends over time for RF issues related to selected items, such as a fiber node, alarm, or topology element. The graphs show data for MAC address/frequency pairs, from the earliest available scan to the most recent, within a two-week period. A graph shows the thresholds related to a particular issue, so you can see where a threshold was crossed. You can then use the Graph Timeline to zoom in and more closely examine the graphical data at specific points in time. Graphs also show modulation switching indicators for upstream parameters. For more information, see View modulation changes. You can also display historical channel percentiles or averages for specific graphs. See View historical channel distribution.

Create graphs for items selected in other views, by entering a time period and then dragging RF Parameters from the Parameters tab to the graphing canvas. Optionally, you can double-click the RF Parameters to move them to the graphing canvas. For instructions see Create graphs.

This picture shows a graph of Upstream Tx Power for a Proactive alarm.

After you create a graph, it shows the following:

  • X Axis — Dates and times selected in the Graph Timeline.
  • Y Axis — Values of the selected RF Parameter.
  • Colored bands — Correspond to thresholds set for the RF Parameter.
  • Lines — A line for each MAC address/frequency pair.
  • Modulation indicators — Correspond to modulation that increases or decreases.
