Replace a transport stream template

You can replace a transport stream template to change any of the following attributes for a given stream:
  • TS Type: multiple (MPTS) or single program transport stream (SPTS)
  • Annex: A, B, or C
  • Info Rate: 0-38810700 megabits per second
  • Symbol Rate: 0, 1000000-6952000 symbols per second
  1. Select Service Groups from the navigation bar.
  2. From the ellipse menu, select Replace Templates. The Service Groups/Replace Templates screen opens.
  3. Choose Transport Stream from the Template Type drop-down list box.
  4. Click the first TS Template field and choose a template from the pop-up list.
  5. Click the second TS Template field (which follows Replace With) and choose a template from the pop-up list.
    NOTE: Only compatible templates appear in the second list.
    A list of service groups using the first template appears below.
  6. Click Compare to see what values will change.
  7. In the list of service groups, check the checkbox for those service groups where you want to make a replacement.
  8. Click Replace Template in the bottom right corner of the screen.

The changes are applied to the selected service groups.
