Upon the addition of a VUE element into VTM, if a CommScope PKI certificate is installed on the VUE, then VTM will auto discover the certificate and begin the communication/synchronization process. However, if a VUE system has been installed in a lab environment (for example) and self-signed certificates are used and VTM is subsequently installed, then please contact CommScope TAC for the necessary changes that need to be made on VTM.
VUE version 2.3.7 (or later) is required for VUE to be configured to send alarms to a Domain Manager Syslog receiver.
VUE version 2.3.7 (or later) is required for VUE to be configured to send VUE metric data (RxD metric data collected by Aux Core status polling) to the Domain Manager Telemetry Pipeline. Refer to the VUE documentation on configuring a VUE server's telegraf agent to transmit metric data.
