To view all the devices in a specific group, double-click the group. The colored circle over each device indicates the highest severity alarm status of the device.
To check the communication status of a specific device, double-click the device to view its Properties window.
The Status panel in the Identity page of the Device Properties window provides status information about the device, including:
Setting | Description |

Alarm | The current highest severity alarm status of the device. The LED indicates the status by color: Red = Critical, Orange = Major, Yellow = Minor, Blue = Warning, Gray = Unknown, Green = Clear |
Communication | The status of communication between the device and the SDM. Established indicates the SDM can communicate with the device. The LED indicates the status by color: Red = Not Established, Green = Established, Gray = Unknown |
Fault | Indicates whether the system is synchronized with the devices for Alarms and Faults conditions. The LED indicates the status by color: Red = Not Established, Green = Established, Gray = Unknown Unknown implies that the SDM cannot successfully status poll the device due to a network issue, or most likely the trap receiver is not pointing to the SDM. |
Configuration | Indicates if the actual device configuration and the SDM's view of the device configuration are equal or not (in sync/out of sync). |
Last Boot Request Received | The last time the SDM received a BOOTP from the device. |
Last Boot Request Sent | The last time the SDM sent a BOOTP response to the particular device. |
