The ServAssure TFTP Receiver (previously identified as the "PNM node") is an optional ServAssure Poller node that is designated as a node dedicated to PNM requests. It listens for and processes all TFTP-related PNM requests from Cisco and Casa CMTSs, including CMTS US Spectrum and OFDMA RxMer tests. An existing ServAssure Poller node can be designated as a ServAssure TFTP Receiver as long as minimum poller node requirements are met, or a new node can be provisioned and deployed in addition to the existing ServAssure Poller node. Refer to Configure ServAssure TFTP Receiver for configuration details.
NOTE: This node does not support HA fail-over.

Virtual machine requirements

Like other ServAssure Poller servers, the ServAssure TFTP Receiver requires a significant amount of RAM to cache data in memory and does not require additional data disks for local storage. This server has the following minimum requirements:
  • 2 vCPU Cores
  • 14GB RAM
  • One of the supported operating systems. For specific versions, refer to Operating system requirements.
  • Additional 40GB disk volume mounted as /opt/arris for CommScope-specific applications and logs
