This version of ServAssure® Collection Platform Design and Installation Guide includes the following updates:

  • SELINUX and FIREWALLD changes

    Starting in this release, you can install on nodes with SELINUX enabled in permissive mode, and FIREWALLD is no longer required to be disabled.

  • Global port matrix

    Starting this release, port matrices are consolidated in a single topic. The port matrices are grouped by product and ordered by destination server.

  • Updates to version compatibility and operating system requirements

    This release includes changes to the versions of other ServAssure components compatible with ServAssure NXT, operating system requirements, and to the ServAssure NXT versions that can be upgraded to the current release.

  • Updates to CMTS provisioning script

    In this release, the backup parameters (backupdir and backupname) for the update option of the pollreg-utility.py are made optional. If not specified, the update option proceeds without backing up the existing registration.
