If you select an amp in Amplifiers view, the amp that you selected and its child elements are selected, down to the level of the next amp. For example, if you select an amp at Node Depth N+2, all the elements below the amp at N+2 are selected, but any amps or elements at N+3 are not selected. Nodes are viewable in Logical View.
- Alarms view: The alarm that contains the amp is selected, if you selected an amp that is part of an alarm.
- Cable Modems view: The cable modem MAC addresses associated with the amp are selected.
- Tree view: The amp and the elements directly under it are selected, down to the level of the next amp.
- Map view: The amp and the elements directly under it are selected, down to the level of the next amp.
- Logical view: The amp and the elements directly under it are selected, down to the level of the next amp.
- SC-QAM view: The modem MAC addresses associated with the amp are selected.
- OFDM/A view: The modem+channel+IUC/Profiles associated with the amp are selected.
- Historical view: Graphs contain data for the selected amp, and the Frequencies table shows the MAC addresses and frequencies that are historical and current.
- PreEQ view: Tap coefficients and In-channel response change with respect to the amplifier selected.
NOTE: If you select an amp in a
Topology view, the amp is specially selected, and its child elements are selected, down
to the level of the next amp.
