Integrate with Insight Platform

If integrating with ServAssure NXT Insight Platform:
  1. NXT_INSIGHT_ENABLED in the site variables file must be set to true.

    If Insight Platform is not installed before this step, set NXT_INSIGHT_ENABLED to true before proceeding to the next step.

  2. Run the install-nxt-engine.yml playbook again to update ServAssure NXT with the correct properties for connecting to Kafka.
  3. Run install-ssl-certs.yml playbook to install SSL Client certificates on ServAssure NXT engine.

    Run this playbook again if the certificates are not present in the ServAssure NXT engine's /opt/arris/certs directory to create the certificates.

  4. Validate that the site-vars contain the kafka_nxt_engine_keystore_pw variable to enable ServAssure NXT engine to use the correct keystore password for its certificates.
  5. Restart the Tableau server.
    Refer to Integration with Insight Reporting for tenant configuration information required to integrate with ServAssure NXT Insight Platform.
  6. Configure Insight API URL and Insight API Password in TenantConfig.
    If you are using Insight Views 2.2 and above, configuring the Insight API URL and password makes Connectivity Score available in the Network View.
    NOTE: You must configure the Insight API Password to match the password set in Insight Views.
    Refer to Tenant creation for tenant configuration information. Use the nxt-api-password.yml playbook to change the default password set by Insight Views.
