ServAssure FieldPro

CommScope ServAssure® NXT - FieldPro consists of a mobile and desktop application that allows users to create new modem records for a device as well as search and view existing records.

NOTE: Access to ServAssure FieldPro requires both a license and a connection to ServAssure® NXT Insight Views. If your installation does not meet these requirements, you will not be able to use ServAssure FieldPro.

You must configure the connection to Insight Views in the ServAssure NXTManagement tool. For more information on configuring the connection, see ServAssure® NXT Design and Installation Guide.

On a mobile device, ServAssure FieldPro provides a lightweight installation verification tool intended for use by field technicians.

On the desktop, as part of the Analyze Modem View application, ServAssure FieldPro provides access to the same modem record information as the mobile interface, and allows for a remote connection to create new modem records. The desktop interface is intended for network operations center (NOC) technicians.

Modem records consist of the following:
  • Static data about the modem
  • Status of the modem at the time the record is created
  • Technician provided answers to questions regarding the operational status of the modem
A configurable number of modem records are stored in Insight Views. The default is 5 per device. Refer to ServAssure® NXT Insight Views Design and Installation Guide for details about changing this value.

With ServAssure FieldPro, technicians can easily report and review modem status and history.
