Perform a VTM database restoration

  1. Log into the Domain Manager host file system with the default labuser account.
  2. Type cd /home/labuser/vtminstall/dbUtils and press Enter.
  3. Copy the [VTM Backup TAR file] file to this directory where [VTM Backup TAR file] is the VTM database backup to be restored.
  4. Type ./vtmDBUtils.sh -r [VTM Backup TAR file] where [VTM Backup TAR file] is the VTM database backup to be restored.
    The restoration procedure will automatically restart the VTM application when the database restore is complete. Allow approximately 2 minutes for this process to finish.
