Events are notifications of any trap received from a managed device or any operation change or state change within the SDM. An example of an event is a configuration change or a change in device state.
You can view a list of all events, or a subset of events associated with a device, group, or network node. To view events, click Network Events. The Network Events window is displayed:

Column definitions are:
Column | Description |

ID | Numeric identifier assigned to the event. If an event is not acknowledged or was unacknowledged, this field is blank. |

Event | The event type. |
Time Stamp | The time that the event was last modified. The format is configurable. |
Category | Category-based International Telecommunication Union alarm types. |
Name | Detected device MAC address associated with the event. |
IP Address | The device's IP address associated with the event. |
Type | The device type. |
