ServAssure Poller nodes run a CommScope-specific Java application. These nodes provide the data read/write interface into the Cassandra Data Node Tier from all other parts of the ServAssure Collection Platform system.
Virtual machine requirements
These servers require a significant amount of RAM in order to cache data in memory.
As such, they do not require additional data disks for local storage. These nodes
consist of the following elements:
- 2 vCPU Cores
- 14GB RAM
- One of the supported operating systems. For specific versions, refer to Operating system requirements.
- Additional 40GB disk volume mounted as /opt/arris for CommScope-specific applications and logs
