The following tables provide details on the fields which pertain to the Broadcast service group type.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | A name assigned to the service group for unique identification. |
| Type | Type of service group. Value is always Broadcast. |
| Created Entities | Entities created through this service group. Values are Channels & TS (Transport Stream), Channels Only, or TS Only. |
| AdZone | Operator assigned AdZone for this service group. This value is meant to give a logical name to the ad distribution area where this service group is used. |
| Location | Operator assigned location name for this service group. This is meant to provide a logical name to the geographical area where this service is used. |
| Null PID B/W (bps) | The transport stream bit rate can be configured to allot enough bandwidth for the insertion of null packets in the transport stream. This transport stream parameter is only applicable to RMD devices that are operating in the asynchronous mode with Broadcast or Narrowcast video service groups. It is not available to Out Of Band Service Groups. The parameter is specified as a value between 0-1,000,000 bps. The default value is zero. |
| Multicast IP | IP address range for the service group multicast. |
| UDP Port | UDP Port used for distribution of this service group. |
| Single Source Multicast (SSM) | This box should be checked only if a Single Source Mutlicast is service is being used. |
| VUE | VUE used to manage the service for this service group. |
| VUE Server | The servers available for the selected VUE. |
| TS Template | Transport Template assigned to this service group. The template is operator created and is done so through the VTM. This only applies to service groups which created transport stream entities. |
| Input Interface | Interface used by the VUE from the source. |
| PID Interface | Interface used by the VUE for PIDs. |
| Output Interface | Interface used by the VUE to send to the destination. |
| TS ID | Transport stream ID for the service group. This increments automatically but is user modifiable to an unused value. |
| Channel Template | Channel template assigned to the service group. You can select a unique channel template per channel when creating or editing a service group. The Operator creates the channel templates in VTM. The channel template type corresponds to the service group type. |
| Mute Service Group | Check box to mute the output of all the transport streams within the service group. |
| LSM | Defines if the service group will be set for LSM operations. |
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| DAC | The name assigned to the DAC 6000 on which this channel was configured. |
| Channel Map Name | Channel map name on the DAC 6000 to which the service group is assigned. |
| Device Name | Unique name assigned to the device on which this channel was configured. |
| Frequency | Frequency assigned to this channel. |
| Modulation Type | The modulation type assigned to this channel in the DAC 6000:
|
| Services | The number of services included in the channel. |
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Frequency (KHz) | Frequency assigned to the transport stream. |
| TS Template | As described above. |
| VUE | VUE assigned to manage this transport stream. |
| VUE Server | The servers available for the selected VUE. |
| Input Interface | As described above. |
| Output Interface | As described above. |
| Service Catalog Entry | Service Catalog Entry in the VTM assigned to this transport stream. The service catalog entry type will specify the type of mapping which takes place in the VUE. |
| Mute | Indicates if the transport stream is muted or unmuted. |
| PID Remapping | Indicates if PID remapping is enabled. |
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| PID Type | Type of the PID being mapped. |
| Input PID Number | PID number from the source. |
| Output PID Number | PID number after mapping which is sent to destination. |
| TS Count | Number of transport streams affected. |
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Name assigned to the RxD. |
| MAC | MAC address of the RxD. |
| Serial Number | Serial number of the RxD (if available). |
| Primary Core | Primary core used by the RxD. |
