Available when the Domain is set to Frequency, Markers are reference points that can help verify amplitude and frequency points on the graph. Up to 4 markers can be set up. Markers are placed at a configurable X-axis value with a width that allows space for an energy summation around the marker.

NOTE: Markers can be set when a capture is either active or inactive.

Set markers as follows:

  1. Enable Markers.
  2. Type a value in the Marker Width field.
The marker width may start on the negative X-axis if the marker's location is close to 0.
  3. Type an X-axis value in Marker 1. For example, if you enter 5, Marker 1 will be centered on 5 MHz (for frequency domains).
  4. Enter data values in any additional markers you want to set up.
  5. Enable each marker by clicking the box next to it.
The enabled marker is displayed on the spectrum graph, centered on the frequency you specified.
NOTE: The General Information panel displays the marker locations as well as the power located around each marker.
