Upgrades of RabbitMQ, which may rarely require a re-installation of the RabbitMQ software, now preserve customized RabbitMQ configurations. Preserved configurations include custom queues, exchanges, bindings, vhosts, users, and permissions. The only time the configuration is completely removed is with a total uninstall, achieved by running ServAssure Collection Manager uninstall via Ansible. For further details, or for instructions to manually backup RabbitMQ configuration for additional safeguarding, refer to ServAssure® Collection Platform Design and Installation Guide.
