Add a VUE Syslog Receiver Configuration

  1. Select Monitoring > VUE Syslog Config in the navigation bar.
  2. Click the (Menu) button.
    The menu options appear.
  3. Click Add.

    The Add Syslog Configuration window is displayed.

  4. Complete the following fields:

    For more information on these fields, refer to VUE Syslog Receiver Configuration fields.

    1. Select a VUE from the pulldown on which the Syslog Receiver is being configured.
    2. Assign an ID to the Syslog Receiver.
    3. Assign a unique Name to the Syslog Receiver.
    4. Enter the Destination IP and Destination Port of the Syslog Receiver.
    5. Select a Protocol to be used when sending events to the Syslog Receiver.
  5. If you would like the Syslog Receiver to be sent events immediately, check the Enable Syslog checkbox.
  6. Click Save to save the configuration or click Cancel.
