The IP Address for reboot parameter provides the ability to remotely reboot a device, using its existing IP address, after it has been changed on the SDM. It is not necessary to delete and rediscover a device when changing its IP address.
- Select Fault > Device Communication Status from the SDM menu bar. The Device Communication Status window is displayed.
- In the IP Address for reboot field, enter the IP address of the device to be rebooted.
- Click Reboot. The device is rebooted.
