You can import or export the redundancy cluster configuration. This is mainly helpful when you have a large number of redundancy clusters to configure.

The Import button enables to you import the redundancy cluster configuration using a JSON file. This can reduce configuration time by enabling you to replicate proven configurations with minimal typing. You can import the JSON file through the EM.

Before you begin, make sure you have the JSON file with all the required configuration data saved in the VUE system on which you are working.

  1. Login to Element Manager, https://<VPS #2_IP_address>:5557.
  2. Click RC-Server on the left navigation pane. The Redundancy Clusters/Servers screen is displayed.
  3. Click Import. A new dialog displays.
    • To import RC configuration JSON file(s), click on the box, Click to select RC configuration file or drop a file here and browse to the location on your system where you have saved the JSON file(s). You can also drag and drop the required JSON file(s).
    • To import VUE server configuration JSON file(s), click on the box, Click to select Vue Server configuration file or drop a file here and browse to the location on your system where you have saved the JSON file(s). You can also drag and drop the required JSON file(s).
  4. Click Submit to send data to the VUE system. Import dialog closes automatically once the submit operation is complete. If not click Close to close the Import dialog.
