To improve performance in Google Chrome, use the following procedure to run in Incognito Mode, disable extensions, and clear the browser cache.
To troubleshoot performance in Chrome
- Start Chrome in Incognito Mode. Incognito Mode automatically disables your extensions.
From the menu at the upper right of the Chrome browser, select New Incognito Window.

- If running in Incognito Mode solves the performance issues, disable extensions one at a time to see whether one is the cause.
- From the menu at the upper right of the Chrome browser, select Settings.
- Select More tools > Extensions.
- Disable each extension by sliding the blue button to the OFF position. Continue doing this until you find the cause of the performance issue.

NOTE: Ad Block must be disabled or User and Admin Help will not display.
- If disabling extensions does not solve the issue, clear the browser cache.
Depending on your version of Chrome, do one of these:
- Click Settings > Advanced > Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data.
- Click Settings > More tools > Clear browsing data.
