The options in the Launch Device Application pane (on the Administration Tab) provide the ability to configure and launch a pre-configured device application (if available). It is possible to manually install device applications on the client, downloaded to the client, or web-based application.
NOTE: Launching remote applications is not supported at this time.
If downloading an application from a device, and/or if the application is web-based, then the device must be accessible to the client machine.
Applications must be staged and managed on each client machine from which they are to run, with the exception of web-based applications. In some cases, installation of additional software components may be required to successfully execute the application (for example, the Java Runtime Environment or JRE).
Configuration of the Command and Argument fields can be performed by both Administrators and Power Users - all users can launch the command.
