The SDM can receive unknown V1 and V2 traps from known generic devices. Traps received by the SDM from generic devices are not processed into Alarms, and are therefore not reflected in the Northbound Interface.
Since generic devices are not fully integrated into the fault management system of the SDM (no MIB information for them is loaded), only minimal information is present.
