ServAssure NXT ships with a self-signed SSL certificate for the Application/UI servers. This SSL certificate is handled by the Tomcat application that is installed on these servers. If you prefer to use your own SSL certificates, and avoid any issues with security notifications caused by use of the self-signed certificate, then plan to acquire your own enterprise/domain SSL certificates for deployment.
If implementing your own hardware-based load balancing solution for the Application/UI Tier, it is recommended that you handle the SSL offloading at the load balancer.
