Access the PreEQ module

  • Log into ServAssure NXT (see Sign in and sign out).
  • Verify that your user profile is assigned to a group that contains the PreEQ Analysis permission. Refer to the ServAssure® NXT Administration Guide for additional information.
  • Open the Fiber Node view. You can open the Fiber Node view from the list of Search results and from the Alarm Central Global view.
    • Open from Search results
      1. Search for a topology element on the monitored network.
      2. The Matches table displays the list of returned topology elements.
      3. Click a Fiber Node Component ID to open the view for that fiber node.
      4. Click the PreEQ tab on the Alarm Central Alarms view. Pre-equalization data results are displayed.

    • Open from Alarm Central Global view
      1. Open Alarm Central.
      2. In the Top Alarms table, identify the fiber node you want to see in Fiber Node view.
      3. Click the fiber node Component ID shown in the Fiber Node column.
      4. Click the PreEQ tab on the Alarm Central Alarms view. Pre-equalization data results are displayed.
