To add or remove comments, your user profile must be assigned to a group with the Alarm Notes or the Alarm Acknowledgment permissions.

To add a comment to the notes associated with an alarm
  1. From Top Alarms in Global view or from Alarms view, in the row for the alarm that requires a comment, click Select Action > Comment.
  2. In the Comments box, enter a comment.
  3. To view a comment in Alarm Notes, in the Alarm table do either of these:
    • Click Select Action > Notes.
    • Click the yellow comment indicator icon .

      The Alarm Notes screen appears.

  4. To view a comment, click .
