Alarm Notes is a log that shows changes to the alarm over time, such as changes in state and severity. It contains linked timestamps, alarm acknowledgment, and comments added by users.

From the Alarm Notes you can jump to the time at which an event occurred, by clicking a link in the Timestamp column. See Obtain data from different points in time.

To open Alarm Notes
  • From Global or Alarms view, in the row for the alarm whose notes you want to view, click Select Action > Notes.

ServAssure NXT automatically enters these events into the Alarm Notes:

    • Frequency range for OFDM/A channel issues. Only the first note contains the frequency range. When the alarm is first generated, all the frequencies involved in the alarm are listed individually, but these eventually disappear.
