Historical channel utilization graphs in Alarm Central > Historical show data only for the channels associated with the selected cable modems, while the graphs on other views display data on per-channel and per modem basis.

NOTE: CMTS names must exist in the Network Hierarchy for channel data, including the channel utilization, to be shown in the Historical graphs.

The Analyze license must be enabled to display utilization parameters in the Alarm Central > Historical > Parameters tab.

Historical channel utilization graphs can be created using the following parameters:

SC-QAM Downstream

  • Utilization
  • Rate (Mbps)
  • Capacity (Mbps)

SC-QAM Upstream

  • Utilization
  • Minislot utilization
  • Rate (Mbps)
  • Capacity (Mbps)

OFDM

  • Channel Utilization OFDM
  • Channel Rate OFDM
  • Channel Capacity OFDM
  • Profile Utilization OFDM
  • Profile Rate OFDM
  • Profile Capacity OFDM

OFDMA

  • Channel Utilization OFDMA
  • Minislot Utilization OFDMA
  • Channel Rate OFDMA
  • Channel Capacity OFDMA
  • IUC Utilization OFDMA
  • IUC Rate OFDMA
  • IUC Capacity OFDMA

NOTE:

The Modulation overlay applies only to a SC-QAM upstream utilization graphs, and the Channel Distributions overlay does not apply to these graphs.

The Upstream Modulations switch in the Display tab is only available for SC-QAM upstream utilization graphs but the Channel Distributions option is not available for the channel utilization graphs.
