To acknowledge an
alarm
- From Top Alarms in Global view
or from Alarms view, in the row for the alarm that you want to acknowledge,
click Select Action
> Acknowledge. - In the Acknowledge box, select
Acknowledged.
- Enter a comment explaining why
you acknowledged the alarm.
The acknowledgment and comment appear in the Alarm Notes. This picture shows an alarm that was acknowledged with the comment This alarm is acknowledged.
If Show Acknowledged in the Global Alarms table or Acknowledged in the Alarms table is selected, a √ (acknowledged) or - (unacknowledged) appears in the Ack column. If the alarm has a comment attached to it, a comment icon also appears in the Ack column.
