Cancel a CAST file set installation

A file set can contain several headend firmware releases. A download operation can therefore take several minutes (or longer) to complete, because each firmware release is processed sequentially. The SDM provides the ability to cancel individual firmware installations during a file set download, provided that the firmware installations have not yet started.

  1. Select Configuration > Firmware Management > CAST Support on the SDM user interface. The CAST Support page displays.
  2. Click Install History.
  3. Locate the Install Status entry box, and type pending in the Filter section to view only those file sets in the pending state.
  4. Click on an entry to select it from the list of pending File Set installations.
  5. Click Cancel to cancel the download of the selected file set.
    NOTE: Only file sets with a status of pending can be canceled. File sets which have begun to download cannot be canceled.
