If an alarm increases in scope so that two or more existing alarms are merged into a single alarm, ServAssure NXT suppresses all but one of the merged alarms. Suppressed alarms are still tracked by ServAssure NXT but do not change state. Suppressed alarms are not shown in the UI until the suppressing alarm has decreased in scope, exposing the suppressed alarm, or until the suppressing alarm is cleared.
